When a standard clean is not enough

A deep clean reaches the places a weekly visit does not: inside the oven and refrigerator, along every baseboard and crown moulding, in grout lines, window tracks, light fixtures and the floor beneath furniture that is rarely moved. It is the clean that returns a home to its baseline, so recurring maintenance can keep it there.

For houses this is The Grand; for condominium suites it is The Renewal. If you are unsure which level you need, our comparison of standard and deep cleaning walks through the difference.

Condo deep cleans have their own emphasis. In a City Centre or Port Credit suite, the work concentrates on the kitchen, which often doubles as the heart of an open-plan living space, along with bathroom grout, window tracks that collect dust from balconies, and the cabinet interiors that a compact home relies on. The result is a suite that feels genuinely new again rather than simply tidy.

What's Included

  • Everything in a standard clean
  • Interior of oven, microwave and refrigerator
  • Detailed baseboard and crown moulding cleaning
  • Interior window sills and tracks
  • Grout and tile scrubbed in kitchens and bathrooms
  • Light fixtures and ceiling fans dusted
  • Under and behind accessible furniture

Every visit is photographed before and after, carried out by background-checked, WSIB-registered professionals, and covered by $2M commercial general liability insurance. If any area falls short, we return and re-clean it at no charge. See all Residential Cleaning options.

Larger homes, longer lists

South Mississauga’s larger homes deserve particular attention. In Lorne Park, Mineola and parts of Clarkson, properties often include formal living and dining rooms, multiple staircases, wainscoting and detailed millwork, chandeliers, and four or more bathrooms. Each of those details adds time, and a properly scoped deep clean accounts for them from the start rather than rushing through the final rooms.

For a home of this scale we may send more than one cleaner, so the work is completed in a single visit without compromising on detail. Staircases are cleaned spindle by spindle, and mudrooms and garage entries, where Mississauga winters leave their mark, are wiped down and reset.

Natural stone, older hardwood and custom cabinetry, all common in these homes, are cleaned with care appropriate to the finish. If there are surfaces or heirloom pieces you would prefer we leave untouched, tell us when we prepare your proposal and they will be noted on the checklist.

Moments our Mississauga clients book a deep clean

A deep clean is rarely random. It usually marks a moment in the life of the house.

  • Spring, once the salt and grit of winter have been tracked through the house
  • Before hosting family for the holidays or a milestone celebration
  • After a renovation, once trades have finished and the fine dust has settled
  • Before listing a home for sale, so photographs and showings present it at its best
  • As the first visit before a recurring schedule begins

How we approach the work

We work top to bottom and room by room, so dust from fixtures and high ledges is captured before floors are finished. Premium non-toxic, eco-conscious products are used throughout (more on our eco-friendly approach), which matters when the clean reaches inside the refrigerator and across every surface children and pets touch. Before-and-after photos document the result, and if an area does not meet the standard we return and re-clean it at no charge.

Deep Cleaning in Mississauga: FAQ

How long does a deep clean take in a large Lorne Park or Mineola home?

It depends on the size of the home, the number of bathrooms, the amount of detailed millwork and how long it has been since the last thorough clean. For larger properties we often assign more than one cleaner so the work is finished in a single visit. Your proposal sets out the scope clearly so you know what to expect before the day.

Should I book a deep clean before starting recurring service?

Usually, yes. If your home has not been professionally cleaned for a while, a deep clean first brings everything to a consistent baseline. Recurring visits after that are more efficient and keep the home at that level. Recurring clients also receive priority scheduling and preferred rates, so the first deep clean is an investment in every visit that follows.

Do you deep clean after a renovation?

Yes, once the trades have finished. Renovation dust settles on ledges, inside cabinets, along baseboards and in vents for days after work ends. We clean surfaces, fixtures and floors throughout the affected rooms and the routes trades used through the house. Heavy debris removal and construction waste are not included, so we ask that those are cleared before we arrive.

Do I need to empty my refrigerator and cabinets?

For the refrigerator interior, it helps if perishables are reduced beforehand; we remove shelves and drawers where possible, clean them and return items. For cabinet interiors in a condo deep clean, cabinets should be emptied so they can be wiped properly. We confirm these details with you when the visit is scheduled.

Before You Book

Standard vs deep cleaning: what is the difference and which do you need?

A standard clean maintains a home that is already in good order: surfaces, floors, kitchen and bathrooms. A deep clean adds the detail work that builds up over time, such as appliance interiors, grout, baseboards, window tracks and light fixtures.

How often should you deep clean a condo?

For most condos, a deep clean every three to six months, or roughly once a season, is a sensible rhythm alongside regular standard cleaning. Pets, children, frequent cooking, allergies and a well-used balcony can all justify a shorter interval.

How to prepare for a cleaning service visit

To prepare for a cleaning visit, clear clutter from surfaces, secure valuables and pets, arrange access and parking, and share your priorities and any fragile items. You do not need to pre-clean; the goal is simply to let the team reach the surfaces that matter.
